Chocolate and Vanilla Layer Cake
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
Vanilla Cream Filling:
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Cream Filling:
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
200 g dark chocolate, chopped
Topping:
Chocolate sprinkles

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two round cake pans.
2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Stir in boiling water. Batter will be thin.
4. Divide into pans and bake for 30–35 minutes. Cool completely.
5. For vanilla filling, heat milk, sugar, and cornstarch over medium heat, stirring until thick. Add vanilla and cool.
6. For chocolate filling, heat cream, pour over chopped chocolate, and stir until smooth. Let thicken.
7. Slice cakes into layers. Spread vanilla cream over one layer, then chocolate cream, then another cake layer. Repeat.
8. Frost top with vanilla cream and cover with chocolate sprinkles.
9. Chill 1 hour before serving.
