Strawberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
1 box strawberry cake mix
1 box (3.4 oz) instant cheesecake pudding mix
4 large eggs
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup milk
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp strawberry puree or milk
Optional: pink food coloring
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream and mix well.
3. Add eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
4. Add cake mix and pudding mix. Beat until batter is smooth and thick.
5. Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
6. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
7. Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
8. Whisk together glaze ingredients until smooth and pourable.
9. Drizzle glaze over cooled cake and let set before slicing.
