Classic Fudgy Brownies

 



Ingredients:


1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter


1 cup granulated sugar


2 large eggs


1 tsp vanilla extract


1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder


1/2 cup all-purpose flour


1/4 tsp baking powder


1/4 tsp salt



Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8-inch baking pan.



2. Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.



3. Mix in cocoa, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.



4. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.



5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.



6. Let cool in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
